About US
BB Partners is a boutique law firm based in Istanbul, focusing on maritime, international transport and trade matters.
Through our strong international network and cross border experience, we go beyond providing legal advice and deliver practical solutions aligned with commercial and operational realities, effectively across different jurisdictions.
Our approach is built on managing legal processes not only at the dispute stage, but throughout the entire lifecycle, starting from the contractual phase. In this context, we actively support our clients at every stage of transport and trade operations across all modes of transport.
Our Approach
We handle each matter with a clear understanding of our clients’ commercial priorities and operational needs. As a boutique firm, we approach every case on its own merits, developing tailored strategies rather than relying on standard or generic solutions.
In fast paced sectors, we act with speed, communicate directly and focus on delivering clear and effective outcomes, avoiding unnecessary complexity.
Our aim is not to complicate legal processes, but to support commercial operations by reducing risk and enabling smooth progression.
In this context, we prioritise early risk identification and structuring processes correctly from the outset.

Founder
BB Partners was founded in 2023 by Betül Pınarbaşı, a lawyer specialised in maritime and international trade law. With an LL.M. from Swansea University and sector experience gained both within a foreign shipowning company and leading law firms, she adopts an approach that combines legal expertise with a strong commercial and operational perspective. In her practice, she goes beyond providing legal advice and focuses on managing processes in line with commercial realities. She delivers fast, direct and solution driven outcomes, particularly in complex and cross border matters within the maritime and transport sectors, supported by a strong international network.
